Re symbol processing

Re Detlef's first contribution about "symbol processing",
I agree with most of what he says but I think he has probably
underestimated the 'power' of the ICMAUS framework. I will try
to put together some more examples showing how ICMAUS can model
operations in maths and in programming. I may not be able to
do this immediately because I am trying to get something else 
finished at present but I will try not to leave it too long.
